Fees

At AUGX we try to make your life easier by offering multiple methods of sending and receiving payments. Whether you want to send a check, make a bank transfer, make a direct deposit, or pay with a credit card, we have a method for you. All of your options are listed below following the Procedure section. AUGX is not responsible for any fees incurred by using the services listed below. Please read more about our Terms. For general questions check our FAQs page.

Procedure

Send to AUGX: Trade Amount + Exchange Fee + Transfer Fees
Receive from AUGX: Equivalent of Trade Amount in your currency of choice.

Whenever you send money or E-Currency to AUGX, you must send the Trade amount plus the Exchange fee plus any Transfer fees. AUGX will deduct all of the Exchange and Transfer fees from the total received and send the equivalent of the remainder in your requested currency. The funds sent by AUGX will be calculated based on the Gold exchange rates current at the time that AUGX calculates the funds due to the client. Please note that Gold exchange rates often vary between the time you send funds and AUGX calculates.
See below for an example of a Buy and a Sell.

Examples

Sample Buy:
You want to buy 200 USD worth of E-gold (AUG). Your bank charges 25 USD to send a wire transfer. Since you cannot know what the rate will be at the time that AUGX fills the order, you should expect a slight increase or decrease in your calculated returns.
Exchange Fee = 0.04 * 200 USD = 12 USD
Transfer Fees = Your Bank Fee + AUGX Wire Transfer Receiving Fee = 25 USD + 10 USD = 35 USD
Send to AUGX: 200 USD + 8 USD + 35 USD = 243 USD
Receive from AUGX: 200 USD worth of E-Currency based on the exchange rate at the time that AUGX fills your order.

Sample Sell:
You want to sell 100 USD worth of E-Currency. Your bank charges you 15 USD to receive a wire transfer.
Exchange Fee = 0.04 * 100 USD = 4 USD (Note: The minimum Exchange Fee is 5 USD)
Transfer Fees = Your Bank Fee + AUGX Wire Transfer Sending Fee = 15 USD + 25 USD = 40 USD
Send to AUGX: 100 USD worth of E-Currency
Receive from AUGX: 100 USD - 5 USD - 25 USD = 70 US
