This page explains in short the e-currencies available for exchange at AUGX.

E-Currency trading has gained extreme popularity in recent years. As the digital market has grown so has E-Currency trading. E-currency allows corporations and individuals to easily transfer funds across borders. In essence, it is a universal denomination.

E-currency has two more major advantages. First off is liquidity. If at any time you feel the need to remove yourself from the E-Currency market, simply visit an exchanger such AUGX and in a very short time you can receive cash for your E-Currency at a very low fee. Second is no inflation. Since E-Gold and E-Bullion are backed by commodities, i.e. real bars of gold, rather than an inflatable currency, purchasing these E-Currencies virtually eliminates the risk of your E-Currency losing value against National Currencies.

E-Gold

1 AUG refers to 1 Gram of Gold. AU = Gold. G = Grams. The units of E-Gold can also be referred to as XAU for Troy ounces of Gold. X=Troy ounces. It is referred to in weight of gold, because the exchange rate of this E-Gold is based on the gold standard, rather than a national currency. This means that E-Gold always carries the value of gold which it represents.

E-Bullion is new to the e-currency game, and has entered the market with a bang. At reduced exchanged fees, E-Bullion is the perfect choice for quick exchanges.
